NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

What is the National Honor Society?

National Honor Society (NHS) is a community built around four pillars since 1921––scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The National Honor Society Program empowers and provides each student with skills and knowledge to become amazing and life-changing leaders in their workplace, community, and beyond in their lifetime.

What we do:

As members of this society, we must fulfill the requirements of each pillar:

  • Scholarship

    • We must maintain academic achievement or an equivalent of academic excellence.

  • Service

    • Each member voluntarily contributed to their school and community without compensation.

  • Leadership

    • All of our members are resourceful, creative, and punctilious.

  • Character

    • We must demonstrate high standards of morality, dependability, and respect toward others.
